OS is 6.0.1 manufacturer is samsung. Bluetooth is a Plantronics PLT-m165 As a side note movement is difficult in wooded areas or areas with high content. Could a press and drag feature be added for movement as well as the current tap and go?

The press and drag is already a feature but not a very useful one, especially if you are trying to use it in a wooded area.
