Where are all the Beefalo!

Hey, so I am on day 13 of my first playthrough anddddd i can only find 1 Beefalo. I've litarally searched 2 COMPLETE savanna biomes and only found 1. My question is, I checked wiki and Beefalo are supposed to follow in herds, so why have i only found 1?
P.S. its not even close to my camp because it took me so long to find 1, and im only getting 2 pieces of manure every other day :/

Hello @Sogogi110, welcome to the forums. There should be more around and I doubt you've fully explored the map by day 13 on your first playthrough. If you're really think there's only one beefalo on your world, use the following console command:

c_countprefabs'beefalo'

To open the console, you press the tilde sign (~) while in-game in the world. Entering the command above should display how many beefalos are actually in the world. If the Console Log states "There are 1 beefalos in the world", then you'd have to make sure that the only beefalo you found doesn't die so it can reproduce (yeah, even a solo beefalo can reproduce).

But if it displays more than 1 beefalos in the world, then you just have to search for them and uncover any fog of war on the map you may have missed.

Edit: Forgot to mention, to close the Console Log (the text that displays the log data) you press Ctrl + L.
