You are asking whether there is a way to update the Dedicated Server to the latest version WHILE the Dedicated Server is still running? As far as I know, I don't think there is a way to update a Dedicated Server to the latest version WHILE the Dedicated Server is still running. Unless I'm mistaken, you'd have to manually save and then close down the Dedicated Server BEFORE you can update it with whichever method necessary (for steamcmd or for steam tools) then start it up back again. Zillvr Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 I don't have experience with gamehosting sites, but I think it'll be the Web Console. You can also just access your server through the game client and enter the c_save() and c_shutdown() commands through the Console by pressing (~) while in game.
