Well done Klei

I really love the latest patch.It does improve the server delay significantly (though it did freeze my game for a few seconds and kicked a friend for a random reason),however the cave still adds some delay to the host and is not as enjoyable as without caves.I assume this has to do with the way the game is hardcoded but I trust you can fix it in the future version.

Offtopic,when setting the worldgen to have no giants it doesn't spawn as many clockworks .I searched 70% of the map and only found 2 clockworks  (knights) on the surface.Is this intended?I only use gui mods (no worldgen/tweak mods).

Could just be the randomness of worldgen, like walrus camps having a range of 1-4 camps on the default setting.

 

If you want, then I could parse your server's save for entity counts and generate an overworld map for the world.

Yeah, just send me the latest save of the server and I can generate maps of it and such.
