Intended Wicker evilness?

The Sealnado robbed my cane and fed it to a nearby lureplant which was my trash can, but my cane never was a trash!

Upon my wrath, I wanted it poison it to death -- directly "inject"ing the venom gland will hurt the player badly and unpoison the player. I wanted to hurt the Seal badly. So I injected the poison. Instead of the Seal dying, nothing happened to it; however, Wicker was so joyful on what she did she hit her heels.

But wait, wasn't that hit heel animation used when you inject that thing yourself, instead of the Seal?

Someone tell me if it is intended to show our hatred to Seal however innocent looking they are, or is a bug.
