Wereson
I didnt want to create a dedicated server, i just wanted to make a normal server and because of this stupid error now i lag on my own server. And its not like a small lag. I need to click on anything at least four times to make it work/open etc. and i was stuck to a forest for 2 in game days and i couldnt move an inch. How do i fix this? Bebbit
How did you manage to learn how to make a dedicated server before learning how to make a listen server? To make a listen server, just host one from the main menu in DST itself. Simple as that.
Wereson
I didnt learn to make a dedicated server, it made one itself. I actually learned it as it started to give errors (dedicated server failed to start), so thats why im searching for a solution. And yes, i thought that i made a listen server, i didnt do anything else other than hosting the game from the main menu, i didnt even ever wander into the files of the game. Joachim
Did you enable caves? This gives me horrible lag on my computer too. This is why I no longer host games on my own computer, but have rented a dedicated server elsewhere. Sorry if I did not understand you correctly. DarkXero
Servers with caves enabled are no longer listen servers.
