I'm making two custom characters based on my favorite fictional characters, and one's traits are that he is lucky and afraid of storms, and the other is deathly afraid of earthquakes. For lucky, I figured perhaps Character 1 would have either a 20% or 10% chance to revive on death, like if he had a Life Giving Amulet or had constructed a Meat Effigy. This character in particular has escaped death several times with barely a scratch, so I figured it might be fitting. For fear of storms, maybe sanity loss during very heavy rain or when lightning strikes...? And the other, Character 2, for his fear of earthquakes, I figure he could lose large amounts of sanity during earthquakes in caves, volcanic eruptions, bosses slamming the ground, etc. Basically things that shake the screen around.

Are these things possible to do? If so, can someone point me in the right direction as to how I'd do these things?

20% chance to revive on death is pretty low imho so if you're doing this, the power should be used BEFORE consuming any other item that gives extra lives(such as life giving amulet ...) otherwise it's completely useless or % should be upped.  Alternatively you could do a % chance that starts low & increases with number of days survived, & restart at 0% when just used

That's... Actually a really good idea. I hadn't even thought of that! I really, really like the alternative idea. I'd imagine that'd be a bit of a doozy to code, though, but I'd really like to add that if I can.

Hello. I managed to get the "scared of storms" part working (somewhat... he's scared of all rain now, light or heavy, but it's something) (EDIT: It doesn't seem to work with RoG. Haven't tested Shipwrecked yet.) after digging around in the code a little bit, but I can't seem to figure out how to go about doing this. I'm not sure where to even start.
