On Steam, just subscribe to the mods you want in the workshop, then in the game's menu click on "Mods" and activate them. On Standalone, download the mods you want here from the forums and extract their file on your mods folder inside dont_starve, in the common folder of your Steam folder, then activate them in-game by clicking on "Mods" in the main menu and activating the mods there.
