Found where woodie is almost OP

He just needs to find a bunny village,which is usually really close on one of the caves. With your infinite axe means you have infinite wood and fire.Infinite pine cones means infinite sanity so you don't have to worry about becoming insane in the caves or if you do,you'll have a lot of pine cones to seed and become sane again.There are also numerous mushtrees you can cut down for blue or whatever mushrooms and wood as well.Grass ,twigs and minerals are usually plenty and spelunke monkeys are probably your best poop source if you can have bunnies nearby.Have a spider nest nearby for an endless supply of webs.

Order bunnies with carrots to kill their allies (without attacking them if possible) and gather huge ammounts of carrots and bunny puffs with which you'll create even more bunnies and so on.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO TAKE ANY MEAT WHEN THE ARE AWAKE OR AN ALLIED BUNNY IS SLEEPING NEXT TO YOU.They smell fear and meat 99% of the time.The 1% of the time it's saved for the pros who can handle such scenarios.

Now combine this guy with willow for whatever reason to satisfy her insatiable hunger for fire and voila! You are literally a god in the caves.

But you'll probably need a miner's hat first so you won't die to charlie.

But still..in a few days I had created at least 3 hutches and I could go on,if need be I could bring bunnies to the surface to fight giants too.

So I guess I'll be picking woodie from now on ^)^

You can do this with any character except Webber.

Flint is not an issue with the earthquakes.

For sanity you got the gigantic blue/green mushtree forests.

Yes,but the sanity drain is a problem for almost all other characters (except maxwell),plus he's probably the only one who doesn't need the blue mushrooms to stay alive.He's rather using them for healing.

Edit: Maxwell doesn't benefit from being in the caves though because as of this version shdaow puppets die from earthquakes.

Edit#2: Hey would you look at that!

Woodie gains a bonus to follower time whenever he recruits a Pig, Bunnyman or Rock Lobster by 4, 2 and 1 minute respectively. For instance if Woodie gives a Pig a Morsel, the Pig will follow him for an entire day (8 minutes) instead of just half of it.

That is really interesting and might explain why bunnies were following me throught the day

Nobody really needs the mushrooms either.

And the answer is in your original post.

If you have a surplus of bunny puffs and food, you can use the fur roll for both health and sanity.

Sleep your troubles away.

 

You can even use a thulecite suit plus a top hat. That gives you Tam sanity.

I'm welcoming your insight,but I don't understand why are we arguing about this?Woodie seems to be the easy mode since he can survive without expensive items like thulecite suit and fur roll (it's not that inexpensive and has 3 uses right?). That's all I'm saying...
