Console Use

I've been playing for awhile now hosting 4 servers, 1 of which is my main and the others are just for testing different characters and mods. I recently found out about console feature and I've been spawning a lot of things on my new world. I know it "wears off" every time I quit the game or restart it, but what I've done with the items and mobs have been saved and overwritten many times that it's becoming sort of choppy and laggy especially in my base where I built tons of things. I also notice my server that is using console took a significantly longer time loading, must have been the build up of stuff I've created and spawned. How do I change everything back without wiping what I've created? The choppiness is just getting unbearable and there are still more things I want to try. Please help.

You will want to reduce the number of prefabs in the world. So get Less Lags from the Steam Workshop and delete some manually (through the console).

I had a server running 70% console spawns and I got to 100+ days with 5x the amount of prefabs I had. I just don't know why it's lagging so much. The former one got corrupted for some reason and I couldn't rollback at all.

What are your specifications if you may? And mods. Some reduce lag, most may add it if they run on a machine too weak for their total.

I don't use mod, just console. I do notice mods slowing my performance down a little from time to time especially if I use more than 3. I wouldn't say my system is dated but it's not very recent. Maybe a laptop from 4 years ago? This is not a very demanding game but I do get frame drops walking into a dense forest. I had frame drops in my previous world too when walking around my base but not to the point where it's difficult to pick up or place things. Everything went fine until one freeze and sudden world regeneration happened.
