PublicBroadcast101
I put all my sound down to 0. Sound FX, Music, and Ambient, but I still hear noise. What can I do about this? It's not that I don't like it, it's just I sometimes don't need sound to focus on projects. Thanks! Please help me! ::) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/66543-how-do-you-disable-dont-starve-together-sound/ Share on other sites
Zillvr
Hello @PublicBroadcast101, welcome to the forums. Have you clicked the Apply button yet when you changed the Volumes to 0? Secondly you could try and manually changing the settings for volume under audio in the settings.ini found under Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether (I don't play on Mac so hopefully that's the correct path location). Be sure that the game is closed first before editing the settings.ini file. Secondly, if you've already tried to apply the changes and there is still sound, are you sure the sound if from DST? As far as I know, turning down the volumes in the Settings would ultimately mute the game. Report back if Applying OR Manually editting settings.ini worked or not. Cheers. DarkXero
There are sounds that still can be heard with sounds set at 0. These are bugs. Like the portal vines stretching, or a book thumping after being read. If you can identify the sound and/or its source, report it. AFK for skins away from the portal until next update.
