Crop seed drops stats

Hi!

I have a small question : I wonder what is the chance that, when we feed a bird in a birdcage a fruit (except berry) or vegetable, it will give 2 crop seeds? I don't use that technique often and I've noticed that, within the small amount of time I've used it, I often only got 1 crop seed, which makes it pretty useless. As anyone compile stats on this? Is it different from vegetable/fruit to another? Am I simply unlucky?

It will spawn 1-2 of the crop seeds with a 50% chance of spawning an additional regular seed. There is no difference in the type of vegetable or fruit you feed him.

I know that (from the wiki). What I want to know is what is the chance to get one crop seed VS 2 crop seeds? Do I have 50% to get 1 crop seed and 50% to get 2 crop seeds or is it 75% 1 crop seed and 25% 2 crop seeds (for instance)?

It's random so yeah 50% to get 1 crop seed and 50% to get 2 crop seeds.
