Urfable
Not sure if it's just me and don't know if this has been said already and not sure if this would be fixed eventually anyway but, the fact that the carpet sounds like wood floors just bother me so much. I was expecting a soft kind of rustling sound? And honestly the sound of the carpet right now throws me off each time i step on it. I never liked the wood flooring because the sound of walking over it almost sounds like hounds which unsettles me. It's a small thing but now that flooring stops puddles from forming (which incentivizes making them) i really wish it made a more pleasant sound. DeputyDeath
I have more of an issue with the texture quality. It looks really low res to me compared to other types of flooring, and I don't have small textures turned on. But yes, the sound should really be changed. And, seeing that it's been made much harder to craft after reducing the drop rate of snake skin, it should be able to absorb a small amount of floodwater as well as stop it from forming where it's placed. I haven't paid that much attention to the flooring quality but i agree it does seem that way. Also yes, i think it would make sense for carpet to absorb some water, maybe it would make a squishing sound when wet? lol Edit: Regarding the quality, the very outer edges of the flooring could be sharper but i think the soft fuzziness of the inside makes sense for a carpet.
