CassieCroft Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Hi So I have no idea what the correct terminology is - but I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me. I want to run a dedicated server but use data that is essentially hosted elsewhere. I don't have very good internet and could not run a dedicated server on my own internet. Is there someway I can do this? I have tried renting a dedicated server for the game but the latest update has caused the provider to not be able to do that anymore. Someone mentioned once something about renting a VM - is that a virtual machine? Is that what I need to do? Sorry for my ignorance but any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
