On the "Wilbur" update

Recommended Posts

Just an observation.

The "summer time" went like 100% more nasty.

Not only the "volcano bombs" create those bloody fire pits. Not even the "dragoons" (what the hell they are? or why?) spit the fire and burn the **** around.

Now everything that grows is getting "weathered" with 95% chance EVERYWHERE. Or maybe 99% chance. Even the grass in the marsh or mangrove biomes goes to crap. Maybe only 1 of 20 of grass, bamboo, sticks or whatever keeps on. Or less. On Day 1 of "summer".

What the hell?

Yeah, lets make everything burn .. "otherwise its way too easy", huh

What are you guys thinking about, really?

When you "fixed" the volcano as it was in the initial release, it went worse - the bombs coming closer, and at lower notice time. The "dog" attacks at the sea still have no proper notification, many times. (Okay, no problem with that, lets assume thats a risk of a sea travel). Now the bombing also has the extra burning power. AND the growing stuff does not grow at all during "summer" .

Nice lot of thinking, eh

Though I very, VERY much appreciate Klei for giving us difficulty, you could argue that it's too much given all your examples put together.

Weathering for example MIGHT be too much, it really depends because I always make sure I have at least a stack or two of grass and twigs going into any difficult season. So for me, weathering is no problem, but neither are any of the others. I like it, but then again it's a matter of opinion.
