SirBuizelton
That's all, really. Some sort of reminder that the doydoys we're carrying are getting dangerously close to dying, because I recently was in the middle of dodging magma rocks and sharks and all sorts of nonsense and I didn't even realize that my doydoys were starving because the change is so subtle to me, and they both died. Any sort of alert would be helpful; a character quote, the doydoys squawking at you, or even their little inventory images blinking or something. For me it's just too easy for them to starve to death on you and they're totally irreplaceable (as far as I know). Heck I'd be fine with them just pecking you and throwing themselves out of your inventory if they get too hungry or something. Anything other than them discreetly slipping into death's cold embrace. Josonic
I sorta feel like the normal color coded icon is more than enough warning. I can't think of a reason why doydoys should have an alert when nothing else entering the red zone prompts an alert. Because they're the only thing in the game that goes extinct if it happens to die in your inventory. I tend to have to carry them very, very long distances to get 2 doydoys together and I'm sure I'm not the only one, so it's easy to have them in your pocket so long you can forget they need to be fed so often Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/64164-can-we-have-some-sort-of-alert-when-doydoys-are-starving-in-our-inventory/#findComment-720922 Share on other sites

TemporaryMan
Better question: what can't you feed them? They'll eat grass, twigs and rocks. Swallow the whole stack instantly, too. As TemporaryMan said, they'll eat almost anything at all. Just make sure to isolate one piece of the item you want to feed them with ctrl+click or they'll eat your entire stack of grass for example.
