At first everything was good, but all of a sudden my 2 friends disconnected from server, everytime they connected the server the tıme duratıon became shorter. Any of the dısconnections included me, I never dısconnected, only them. at first the server is a computer that was not used. we thought that the problem might be the computer, so i made the server in my computer. We tried. the first half an hour everything was normal, like before. however, after half an hour they began to disconnect. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thnak you. A lot of other things could factor into the player connection drops but first I should ask how do you guys play DST? Over LAN or over the internet? If it's the latter then what I think the cause is due to not having a good enough internet connection between you and the other players. If their ping indicators is very low (shown by pressing tab in-game) that may actually be the cause. Here's some numbers you might not be aware of: Internet (Upload) = 8Kbytes / player / s (source) Ram = around 65Mbytes/player (source) Don't Starve Together Dedicated Server System Requirements Secondly are you running a dedicated server? If yes, which process did you do? There are currently three ways to play DST dedicated servers right now. First is through Preconfigured Dedicated Server, second is manually configuring servers (Windows, Linux, Mac) and lastly through cavespreview beta branch. If you are running a dedicated server, do attach the log.txt found in the server folders under Documents\Klei\ if you're on Windows, on MAC: ~/Documents/Klei/ on Linux: ~/.klei/ and copy the log.txt found there to your next reply. If you are running the servers through client in the cavespreview beta branch or through the public branch (which everyone plays on by default), the log files should be in Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether.
