Better combat? attack move?

A lot of the times when I am fighting against a mob, I click the ground next to them by accident and get gangbanged to death....So maybe implement something like an attack move command? I know you can press space to auto attack but that doesnt work well when you are using an axe and your champ decides that chopping trees are more important.

Hello @Mokoton, welcome to the forums. An attack-nearest-hostile-creature hotkey exists and it is F by default. So if you want to attack neutral creatures (pigs, beefalo, butterfly, etc.) you hold CTRL then press F. Spacebar is for auto-action, i.e. do the nearest action (pick up item, harvest grass/sapling, use tool, etc.). You can do the dodging yourself though, but using F instead of mouseclicking enemies is already good enough for combat. 

 

If F doesn't seem to work for you, go check your controls settings in. I hope that helps, cheers.
