Coffee (Veggie)

Recipe: 4 Roasted Coffee Beans OR 3 Roasted Coffee Beans + Butter, Goat Milk or Honey

Stats: 3 Health, 9.375 Hunger, 5 Sanity

-Adds special 'caffeine' bonus for few minutes (adds 5 movement speed)

 

This recipe should only be 3 Roasted Coffee Beans + Butter/Goat Milk

Since the coffee recipe requires butter/milk(a resource you don't have a lot of) I suggest that you can give coffee to the octopus king and for the duration of the buff  you can trade with him as much as you can in those few minutes.

Maybe it'd be simpler to have to coffee beans cook straight into a cup of hot coffee. (Warms you up, provides a caffine boost.)

 

Possibly you could also put it in the crockpot with some ice and dairy to make iced coffee.

 

Maybe three or more coffee beans in the crockpot gives you an "Expresso" which causes you to become really fast (like WX-78 overload fast) and to lose sanity really quickly.

 

I really like the idea of keeping the Yaarctopus awake for longer, but there might be issues with his chest-grabbing animation.

Coffee is already ingame but since you can't find coffee bushes, you can't have seeds and thus no coffee. Beans and coffee drink can still be spawned with the console. Cookable with crockpot, adds a moving speed bonus for few times. I think that the recipes uses 4 roasted beans or 3 roasted beans + sweetener.

I am aware that it is already ingame , I just suggested that you can use it on the yaarctopus so you can trade with him for a longer time,and to avoid people abusing this method the recipe for coffee should be 3 beans + milk/butter ,because milk and butter are not so easy to obtain.
