d3v1n96 Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 For some reason they keep disappearing from my inventory, it doesn't happen right away it usually takes just over a day and then when I go to build a snakeskin hat or coat I look at my inventory and see an empty place where they used to be. this has happened to me three different times. When they were not in any of my chests or bags I was concerned but figured I misplaced them somehow. So I went over and got 2 from the one skeleton left, came back on the boat to my base island planning to make a snakeskin jacket for hurricane season. But alas they were also gone. I agree that boarding or disembarking a boat is the likely culprit. For now I'll have to spawn a few in to replace them. You can get spoiled fish from cooked fish morsels and dogfish/swordfish after they rot. You can smash those with a hammer and get 2 shards from each. To get them faster, you can feed the raw dogfish and swordfish to packim (feed them 1 by 1 because there is a bug that causes him to spew out only 1 spoiled fish regardless of input) and he will give you spoiled fish.
