False Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 So, the thing is when used to hold a non-dedicated server of DST on steam, almost no-one joined and even when someone joined, he said that the ping he saw on server list is ???. I guess that was the reason. I have tried to play with the settings of my router but with no luck, I think my ISP probably banned all those ports needed. With the cave beta and dedicated server, I remembered that I saw in a recent update mentioning that some punch-through tech has been added. So, does this change whether my server is ping-able? FYI, when I used to play tunngle games and used a vpn, it appeared many players join my server. Maybe I should also use a vpn when hosting a server?
