[Bug] Can't pick up seashells

So I've found if I go by a seashell without picking it up, and then later on sometime exit the game, if I go back to try and pick it up it'll only say "Examine Seashell" and won't allow me to pick it up? At first it only seemed to apply to the seashells that were on screen when I left the game, however it also seems to apply to seashells that were walked past/discovered and not picked up. 

 

I'm not sure if this also applies to seashells that are spawned when the tide comes in, as I have only experienced it (to my knowledge) with seashells that are pre-spawned on spots. 

 

All the seashells pictured below only give the option to examine them.

I was back on that island again (with the examine-only seashells) and this time I was able to pick them up? It's 9 days ahead, and I have been doing some exploring away from that spot, but I'm not sure what fixed it.

Maybe you accidentally locked your alt key, so you can only examine things.If you have this problem again, just press alt-key again.

I think I found that sometimes shells aren't "out" enough to be picked up? I couldn't pick up a couple but I went back a day or two later in game and could pick them up fine. I don't know if maybe the tide washes away more sand so you can get it idk.

I think that's probably why you could grab it again later.
