WalmiroN Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 So, on the standard DS game i play with 60 Fps Looks like the new dlc has some extra effects in it (graphics), when i play on SW the Fps drops to 30. I was wondering if they could let us change those effects on the options menu. tyraelpl Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Correction, it has affected the base game with RoG and there I'm also getting quite poor performance (~45 fps and jerkyness, choppyness). My PC is more then capable of running the game at full setting @1080p 60 fps. Performance went to hell after I installed SW today. The worst part is that it won't go back to the buttery smooth running even after i disable SW! For me the only FPS issues are near the volcano, bioluminescence and while having volcano dust effect on screen, I have like 4-5 years old rig, still doing fine. It didnt help, I disabled SW in Steam and the poor performance is still there regardless. I also deleted DS ini file; didnt help. As expected Don't starve together runs as good as it did. Now that is weird... Playing DST fixed DS it seems, as well as DS with SW enabled Edit: I think i got it figured, sorry for the confusion. It seems that another app (script) was causing this for some reason.
