IronWeasel Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 Ran across a Viney Bush that spawns snakes and unlike other Viney Bushes nearby, it is "unhackable". BUG? - If this is a bug then Viney Bushes that spawn snakes can't be hacked. Suggestion - If it's intended behavior, then I would like to make a suggestion that it behaves like the Spider Dens in DS / ROG wherein there are a set number of snakes that spawn and afterwards it can be hacked like other Viney Bushes. BUG? Saving and reloading the game causes the "unhackable" Viney bush to show the hacked texture for several seconds after the game is reloaded. Could be the time it takes to load all game textures...just listing it anyway. BUG? Said Viney Bush continues to spawn snakes after save and reload. I tried saving and loading the same game world 6 times. 5 of those times the game spawned another snake from that same bush. This could potentially turn those bushes into snake farms.Again, I'm not sure what the intended behavior of those bushes and snakes are, so this may or may not be a bug. I just wanted to bring it up either way. I also have a short gameplay video (uploader on this forum wouldn't take it) showing the Viney Bush in question. Just need to find somewhere to post it. This bush was likely hacked down already, but the code to make the bush shake and hiss every now and then is causing the bush to play an incorrect animation which makes the bush appear hackable when it shouldn't be. That particular Viney Bush was never able to be hacked, that's why it caught my attention and I thought it may have been a bug since other objects, like Jungle Trees, that contain snakes are able to be hacked / chopped / whatever. I still have the save game file since I stopped after recording that short video.
