thomathy007 Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 I have had the same issue with sand. This only occurs if the sand source pile is the closest thing to you though. If you are closer to the sand than the sand source, you will pick up the sand. My guess is that the game is still trying to have you harvest from the sand source, but since the source is empty, nothing is happening. I bet it's related to the seaweed too.
