godzmc
Hello,I have been trying to play DST with my GF over our local WiFi network... I created an offline server to host the game, however, the second computer is unable to connect to it (the server IS visible in the list of available games), and it shows a message: "This server is temporarily not accepting new connections. Please wait a while and try later."We are both in the offline mode of Steam and we are connected to a router over WiFi. Any suggestions please? Thanks. Ok, I tried to connect with c_connect() and the response was the same, i.e. "The server is not accepting new connections, try again later...". But thanks for the suggestion Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/58027-lan-game-through-wifi/#findComment-675026 Share on other sites
peteryle
idk if it'd work, but i'd try connecting while both online from steam and select it from the lan tab Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/58027-lan-game-through-wifi/#findComment-675358 Share on other sites
Zillvr
The only scenario I can think of for this to happen is if you've limited the max players for your lan server, did you? If not, how about you try and set up the lan server from the second computer instead. If that doesn't work still, then I'm out of ideas. Sorry. I hope that helps, cheers. tyremendi
Perhaps you need to adjust your firewall settings to allow network connections for DST binaries.
