Pls help with my character

when i launch this happens i try with the Extended Sample Character Template

When you come across these problems, your better off submitting your log file for maximum information

C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\log.txt

This log file get's created everytime don't starve run's and stops running, and it points to exactly where the problem is.  So when these happen, just post the log.txt here before starting the game up again.

 

But it looks like your Anim folder doesn't have the bigdaddy.zip

Have you followed the tutorial for the character template?

I would recommend starting there and following the instructions.

 

I believe what you need to do is run the autocompiler to create your bigdaddy.zip animation file.  Follow the tutorial video in the thread I linked.

 

Rename the esctemplate.scml file in the exported folder to bigdaddy.scml, and then start up the game.  The autocompiler should start up automatically, unless you haven't installed the "Don't Starve Mod Tools". You can install those through Steam.

 

Library/Tools/Don't Starve mod tools

 

If your still having trouble, post your modmain.lua and scripts/prefabs/bigdaddy.lua (unless it's still named esctemplate.lua) and I'll see what else is wrong.

Thx i found the problem 2 esctemplates were not overritten with bigdaddy
