Dedicated server doesnt show up on servers list [need help]

Recommended Posts

So i have already tried to swap to port 10998 and it didnt work either. It does show up in the "lan" tab even with the "dedicated_lan_server = false" line included in the settings.ini file. I have been able to put it online and play with friends normally in the past, but it doesnt work anymore.

heres my settings.ini , is there anything wrong with it?

You need to setup a server token. Also don't c/p in a text file you need to copy then move the file over to your server. Here's a link on how to do it.

Also make sure that your server and client are both up to date.

i did it as its shown, still only showing up on LAN tab. :culpability:

Don't know are you still having the problem, but

It's because you still haven't port-forwarded it passed your firewall. If you're running it by your router's firewall, all you need to do is adding tcp and udp both 10999 and it should work.

If not, you can go advance settings into your firewall and set it outbound with 10990-10999.

It worked for me, personally thanks to TonyV and Roni (if I recall if its right.)
