I was able to (and finally!) get a mod in and I don't know what challenge awaits me in the future (as of today onward), but as the title said: I as the host can't seem to login. My friends could without a doubt.

It showed a faded message about "Mod has been enabled. Klei will not help you" warning before it lurked into the loading screen, forever does it not load at all. I was then forced to close my client down to retry, only to do it again.

 

Here's what the log has to say, which I don't know too well what's going on, especially the Orphaned.

 

I also noticed it said that the server does not exist, yet my friend can go on it whilst server console is up. What's happening?

But it's compatible to play in Don't Starve Together, and the author has updated it since yesterday night to become playable, and friends can play it whilst I cannot connect to my server. It don't add up?

No worries, I'm not blaming anyone about it! I appreciate your help. While I wait for a help or suggestion, surely I doubt will there be any changes, I'll try tweak some stuff again.

Your setup is hosted dedicated server, and you join as a lan client, right?

Without mods, you say you can join your server, maybe could you try enabling your mods one by one?

 

And also, you are using the modoverrides method.

Perhaps can you try the method in dedicated_server_mods_setup.lua in the mods folder?

 

Finally, maybe you could disable the mods on your side, so you download them when you try to join.

Fixed. It was the lan not showing up in the lan tab, and it wouldn't recognize me as admin.

 

I was able to put mods into the game now, however I assure (and have read a few threads while working) that as a dedicated server with out GSA, the players have to manually add the mods from the steam workshop in order to play my server? Cause based from what my husband's logs, he cannot go into my server without the mods I have chosen in my server. There's no such thing as 'autodownload' is there? And if there is, can I get the designation where?

 

Also, I'm quite confused how to properly adjust the true with the configuration. So let's say... Fixed Multiplayer; it has numerous mods in at once:

Max of Chesters, allow map to fully be shown, speed, and more.

 

With a prime example (just give me any word) with Chester, how can I enable settings? I found examples that were messy and does not work.

I'm pretty sure I've formatted it right! Is it because of the configuration details I have to enable to make it work? By meaning of configurations, I mean by extra mods including in one mod. 
 
Also, now experimenting now my friends can't join but those who can do in LAN. What am I need to do to allow the server to be seen online? Firewall is disabled and firewall is allowing DST servers. Assistant would be pleasant! Thank you!
