XirmiX
So, if a player is alone on a dedicated survival server and dies, then the timer will pop up, but if another player then joins who is not dead, the timer will still continue. Why does that happen? Is that intended? It doesn't on hosted servers, so why on dedicated? Kzisor
@XirmiX, it should also happen on hosted servers. If it's not then that is a bug, however, the reasoning for it is Player A was alone on the server and died, therefore all players are dead. If Player B joins he won't be considered a surviving player, he will be treated as a new player even if he has been playing on same server the entire time. You have exactly 10 seconds to get back in the server before you are considered a new player. Honestly the mechanics need to be changed so that if anyone who has 'save data' in the world logs into the world it doesn't reset and it cancels the timer. For now the ghost can simply leave and the countdown should stop, if it doesn't have both players leave and let the alive person rejoin then the ghost can rejoin. Last I played in a server in the recent update, the timer will remain even if the ghost simply leaves. Its basically like its mandatory to revive the person in question, and leaving simply dooms the world regardless of what method you do. idk though. It might only have happened once. Kzisor
@Vaculity, as I said it should, however, I know having both players leave and then have the alive person rejoining will stop the countdown. XirmiX
So, yeah, it turns out all players need to leave and the first person to join again must be alive one for dedicated servers to stop the countdown.
