rScarecrow
So I recently cobbled together a custom character to use when I play DST with friends, but there's one glaring issue. His head is floating a couple feet above his body!Has anyone else experienced this? I created the character atlas with the autocompiler, and I've even recompiled it a few times. What should I do now? Kzisor
@rScarecrow, set the default pivot position in spriter for your head images and rebuild the animation files. rScarecrow
@rScarecrow, set the default pivot position in spriter for your head images and rebuild the animation files. would default position just mean setting the pivot values to zero? Kzisor
@rScarecrow, no it means you need to set them to around the base/neck area of the head. rScarecrow
@rScarecrow, no it means you need to set them to around the base/neck area of the head. I pulled spriter up and made sure the head matched up with the body positions. He seems to be put together fine in spriter, but something just goes wrong when I open the game up. I do have to admit that I am entirely new to this, So I don't know if i'm missing some unseen thing by a mile. Kzisor
@rScarecrow, as I stated before, set the default pivot position in spriter and then recompile your animation files. rScarecrow
@rScarecrow, as I stated before, set the default pivot position in spriter and then recompile your animation files. I guess i'm a bit slow, it took me a minute to figure out how to default the pivots! That worked though, thanks very much! Kzisor
@rScarecrow, you're welcome. It's not something that is really explained in any guide. Default pivot positions is position which is used by the auto compiler.
