so i've been following guides and other posts here related to client crashing, server modding, and how to's. but so far i haven't been able to do it.
 
ive noticed that crashing(blackscreen of eternal loading) only occurs if i have the modsetting.lua to forceenable the mods. deleting it will allow me to join but the mods arent loaded. 
 
ive also followed the comprehensive, but not very friendly wikiguide of dont starve together how to.

it looks like you've got them enabled in the download but not enabled. if you're coding in the forceenable is correct, it could be a bugged mod.

 

I don't have the coding in front of me, but i'll be making a post later of what i used and is working, but i did as follows...

 

ForceEnable..... ***proper mod code here**

-- Name of MOD

 

the "--" kills the command, soo you can go mod by mod if need be with

 

--ForceEnable..... ***proper mod code here**

--Name of MOD

 

for easier troubleshooting. It'll make more sense when i get home haha.
