[General] - Opening up the chat also adds in the extra symbol

Issue Title: Opening up the chat also adds in the extra symbol
Issue Description: It's been bothering me all day and I can't stop it.

Whenever I press the 'Y' and '/' keys, it assumes im pressing it twice. So for example:

Instead of opening the chatbox like this:

Username:[Message]

I get this instead:

Username:y[Message]

 

Username:(//)[Message]

This has been bothering me ALL DAY and even though its not something worth getting angry at, I kinda wish it'd stop bothering me.
Steps to Reproduce: Start game and press your Open chatbox key.

 

Edit: For some odd reason I had to put ()'s for the Forward slashes in order for you guys to see the message correctly.
