So, WinXP compatability was never fixed? Or is there some sort of work around.

A long time ago Invisible Inc worked perfectly fine on Windows XP, until one patch back in August 2014 broke it. Some people from Klei then said that they could fix the problem and restore compatibility, but that doesn't seem to have happened. Unless there's some workaround, or force 32bit compatibility I'm not seeing.

Unless this is just a solo case for me, which I find unlikely.

And yeah, I know the minimum requirements are higher than XP, but it still ran on it, and there was a presumed fix in the works that never happened. I can't complain if they never got around to it (since it technically wasn't their problem) but I'd still like some closure.

Since WinXP is over a year past the end of mainstream support, I suspect that the only closure you're likely to see is your copy of WinXP being fatally bluescreened by malware.

(As galling as that is, since WinXP wasn't broke other than by microsoft's need to reinvent the wheel to get more munnies... /eyeroll)
