Morik
Am I imagining things or does the jet not always stay near the last completed mission? If I select a mission near a cluster of other missions, should I be able to reach them really fast later? (I.e., should I favor taking a mission that is near others, so I can get to those others faster? Or is the jet placement afterwards random and it doesn't matter where my previous mission was?) JimThePea
The first one, you should look for clusters and paths to try and cram as many missions into your 72 hours, but there's always reasons to pick a better looking mission that's 12 hours away. A good trick if you only have 8 hours left, pick one that's 7 or less away, because even if you only have one hour left, you can still take a mission that's 12 away. Yes and no. You do in fact want to cluster missions together, as it takes much less time to "travel" to nearby missions. However, there is a certain minimum/maximum time length that elapses. You will never have a mission that takes longer than 12 hours to get to. Similarly, you will never have a mission that takes less than 5-8 hours to get to. I'm not sure what this minimum limit is off the top of my head, but it's there, so just keep it in mind. If you are 60 hours into your 72 hour compaign (in-game hours), then you have only 12 hours left before the final mission. You can either go to one mission 12 hours away, or one mission 8 hours away and another mission 9 hours away. It doesn't matter how far "over" the 72 hour limit you go. If you're on hour 71, you can travel to the other side of the world for one last mission.
