Game not working under OSX

When I launch the game I get a message saying "The application “InvisibleInc.app” can’t be opened."

 

I tried a terminal command as mentioned elsewhere and it doesn't work either:

 

Last login: Wed May 13 23:50:11 on ttys000

Tracy-MBAir:~ tracyevans$ chmod +x InvisibleInc.app/Content/MacOS/InvisibleInc

chmod: InvisibleInc.app/Content/MacOS/InvisibleInc: No such file or directory

 

What next?

I had the same issue. I solved it as follows:

 

cd /applications

chmod +x InvisibleInc.app/Contents/MacOS/InvisibleInc

 

The game works fine for me now, and is hella fun to play. Hope this helps you.

I guess you guys use the non-Steam version? I am playing through Steam on a Mac and never had a problem so far.

Just a short heads-up – may improve the google-foo as long as it’s relevant. I quickly found this via google.

 

OS X 10.8.5, not Steam, same issue, solution worked.
