After each day, the food gets more rotten and can make you sick if you eat it (rotten).

So everybody starves? 1 day is too short. God, 15 days minimum. But the idea would stop horders, but also, stacking. I have 40 seeds all gained at different times, now it's a bit tricky and any way that we figure out is inconvenient or too complex.

It would be too much as if you had to put a timer on a single unit and then they're stacked together,well first you had to find a way to get past the whole stack and the sheer amount of items you can have is absurd and so it would slow down the game a LOT. Imagine 400 tickers ticking down at the same time.
