(Help)Need information about Shirts

Hi, I want to make an equippable shirt for one of my characters. The thing is, I don't have a template. I was lucky to have one for the character's hat and weapon because it took care of the animation for me and allowed me to have preset dimensions. 

 

So, how do I set up my Shirt Mod? I tried finding game files adaptable for me but I have only found code, no animation or any information about the image files.

 

I thought of using the Santa Mod as a template. It appears that the equippable vest files are in the anim folder. However, the file combines everything (all vest animation, i.e. when hungry) in one file and has a build. I'd like a more simple and organized version of this. I need to be able to use a png per image (and not one big image with everything) that will autocompile in .tex and .xml. A spriter file for any animation that might need a tweak would be nice as well. Kind of like the torso of the Extended Sample Character Mod. 

 

    PS: It also seems that the vest textures are very small. I can't make much with these dimensions, it should be bigger, right? :/

also, u can use http://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/583-ktools-cross-platform-modding-tools-for-dont-starve/ to decompile animationfiles into spriterfiles.
