Can't use compilers, please help.

I keep getting ERROR: Failed to open log file h. when I try to complime my .scml files, I've already tried verifying both the tools and Don't Starve itself. This happens with both the autocompiler and the scml.exe

The log is usually in your steamfolder in SteamApps\common\temp maybe there is something wrong, like the folder not existing, or the compiler having no rights to write there.

try starting the autocompiler manually

SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Mod Tools\mod_tools\autocompiler.exe

if it still has that error, try starting it with rightclick -> run as admin.

... Running as administrator fixed it, I had already been trying to run it manually, but it ended up being something so simple. Thank you, I don't know why I didn't think of it.
