But I want to buy a pack on Steam, so that me and my friend can play Don't Starve together. He doesn't own any game too, I want to send him a gift. So, do I only need to buy the Don't Starve Together Frontiers Pack?Thanks for your answers. When you buy the Frontier pack, you'll get both the singleplayer and the multiplayer version.You'll also find an extra key for multiplayer in your steam inventory. You can give it to your friendand then he/she can play multiplayer too and one of you can make a server and you can playtogether. So yeah, all you need to play Don't Starve Together is Don't Starve Together, youdon't need the normal singleplayer Don't Starve.Hope this answers all your questions! Michi01 Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 @FabFabiFabOf course he/she can always make a server and play alone, but somesingleplayer features like caves aren't added yet and players do lessdamage so it's more difficult.You can make a password protected server or you can add yourfriend as a friend on steam and make a "friends only" server.To do the @someone thing you need to highlight something someonewrote, but instead of "quote", you select "@mention".
