Ayumi555 Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: General Issue Title: dontstarve_steam.exe has stopped working Issue Description: Now first of all, This game has been working, but the problem is is that after I updated it just an hour or two ago... That's when I started to have issues. This is when this error showed up. I was in the middle of playing with my friends and the game wouldn't start, it would show the loading screen and then say "dontstarve_steam.exe has stopped working" Yes I restarted my laptop, yes I did "verify integrity of game cache" I even tried to run it in administer mode. And I'm seriously getting frustrated. I'm out of ideas and I just want it to work again, so that I can play with my friends. Steps to Reproduce: I was having some lag issues when I was on my friends server, so I restarted my computer. It told me to update so I did, right after it updated it displayed the crash report. I've tried everything and literally I don't know what to do anymore. Nothing seems to want to make this game work and it's making me depressed. rezecib Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 @Ayumi555, Attach your Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/log.txt after a crash. Even though the game isn't displaying a crash report, the log may still contain one.
