bigpak
I am talking new player animations compatible with every character, so like a drinking animation, or I don't know, some new animation for characters, or a new attack animation. The custom idle tutorial doesn't help much Edited February 13, 2015 by bigpak Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/50925-is-there-any-documentation-or-idea-on-how-to-add-new-character-animations/ Share on other sites
WalrusMan
I would guess to make the animation on Spriter and overwrite the replacement? I think Spriter animates, at least. Corrosive
In order to do this, you'd have to take into consideration all of the elements that are on all characters, and I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do this without Klei's internal development tools. RedRock911
i'm researching this myself, I want my character to have a different face when running, I know all I have to do art wise is add a "face-31" but as far as telling the game do X when Y until Z, my knowledge sucks. I'm completely intimidated by code, so everytime I start to work on it, the first sign of trouble, I go back and work on art work. It's like writers block for modders with me.
