Issue Title: Can't join friend's server and vice versa

Issue Description: I just bought the game and sent the extra copy to a friend.

I created a server and invited him, I can see him in the players list (TAB) for a few second then he disappears. According to him It disconnects him.

The same thing happens the other way around except the fact it doesn't show I entered in the players list (TAB).

Steps to Reproduce: Enter friend's server.

Friend enters my serer.

Are you joining him by clicking on his icon in Steam and selecting Join Game? It definitely shouldn't be working like it is for you, but maybe joining his server normally (e.g. setting the server filter to friend-hosted games and double-clicking his server) will work.

 

It looks to me like it's somehow thinking it got a request to join a different server through Steam, so it's like "I gotta leave this one so I can join the new one".

 

Edit: Although later in the log it's giving a more generic disconnect...

Does it hang for 8 seconds before disconnecting you (that's the default time it waits before dropping a client that's not responding)? It might be downloading mods or just not being able to connect quickly enough for some reason.

I tried to join in multiple ways. I tried to join through steam (alt+tab), I told him to invite me and I tried to join regularly through the server search. Every way ended with the same result- black screen for a few seconds then dc.

And yea it hangs around for 8 seconds, every once in a while it tries to join for a lot more than 8 seconds.

I'm having the same issue with my friend. I can't join his servers, and he can't join mine.

Same! Since the latest update was downloaded, I can hardly find anybody's servers, and I can't load my own! I hope this is fixed ASAP!

was this problem ever fixed? this is exactly whats happening with me and a friend, cept I am able to join any other server but his and he cant join mine or any other in the list.

@Kuzzin, Are you on the same network? Try switching the filters to LAN only.

@rezecib we are not on the same network, and my friend is only able t see hosted games in the server list but I am able to see all servers if that helps. Another bit of info is I brought the frontier pack and sent him the free dst key, I dunno if that's the reason he cannot see dedicated servers or not.

@Kuzzin, No, that wouldn't change anything. It's pretty clear that the issue is on his end, so if he could make a thread on it and post his Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/log.txt, that might help.
