WWolf Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Hello friends, i have some ideas for devs. I played 100 hours on reign of giants before talking about.Some bad points jump to my eyes. 1: why the hell i start 3 new huge maps without 1 buffalo on it...and worst no 1 knight who gift me a poor gear. So i play 6 hours each map to be suddendly killed by overheat at summer in 5 minutes. yeah the result of no farm cuz no masure, no flingomatic and no fridge.. Your game is so nice. Why break the joice like that. To add another commentary, u make the players able to craft some doodles (it's ok), but we can't craft some gears officialy, we need download it as a mod :\----> Solution: can u add definitively in your game the fact to craft ourself our own gears please. I think with permadeath and the rest, your game is enought difficult like that without add another layer on it . This point make the difference between a good game and a stupid go to die and u will never see the end! 2: I had the idea to go in the caves for at least survive to 1 summer..just to try...i go in caves and surprize, i got killed by the same overheating :\. Question have u a real cave near your real home? Know u what is a cave in reality? hehehe i don't think so.. Maybe visit a cave a day in your life to know if u can be overheating here.-----> Solution: can u delete this false overheating in the caves and maybe add a permanently winter (why not) into it. it would match a few more the reality. For the rest, i love your game so much. But if it's for dying like a derp always cuz the same gears, i ll stop to waste my time on it. It would be so sad. Please, fix that quick If some players think that too, let's comment with me. Let me see if I can help you... hmm... gears Well, gears can be acquired in RoG through tumble weeds that spawn in the desert biome... so even without the clockwork pieces, you can still get them... manure buffalo You can get manure from pigs... feed them some vegetables/fruits (carrots, berries, mushrooms) and they will poop...Also, try tacking some Koalefants if you find a pile of dirt that wasn't there before, inspect it and follow the trail... it will lead you to a Koalefant (or a Warg... a giant wolf) that is good for its meat and can produce manure too cavesActually, the temperature during summer are lower than that in the surface... but of course, you will still feel the heat over time so the caves give off a little respite from the heat Tip: during summer, try standing under a tree in the game... it will actually cool your temperature down...
