About disconnecting when dead in DST

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm playing as a host with 2 other friends. Whilst playing alone, I accidently got myself killed and have the timer, which seems to reset to 180 when I disconnect. I can disconnect from the world and rejoin, but still be a ghost for 180 seconds or until I disconnect again. The world still seems to be there. Can my friends log on my server (they are unharmed, not dead) and still play and hopefully revive me so long as I don't stick around for the server to restart or hit the button?

Hey there !

Once all the connected people on the server are dead, clock starts ticking, and can only be stopped if one of these guys is resurrected (through touchstone, telltale heart, life giving amulet haunting...)

So your friends can join for sure, but they'll have to revive you before the timer goes off ;)

Don't forget the clock will keep ticking even if you're not connected ;)

If you're the host and you're dead, the 3 minute timer that starts when you load the server will cancel when a living player joins the game (assuming they make it in before the timer runs out). Note that this is a special case for loading a server as a host when you're dead. If all players die in a game and then a player joins a server that has been up for a while, the timer will not cancel and the new player will have to try and revive another player before the timer runs out.
