It is possible to parse it from http://my.jacklul.com/dstservers/ but I think it is not the best solution. One way is to parse the Server Lobby List (that's what your link does).Another way is to write a mod which can write a file with the current connected players. This solution allows you to update the number only when someone connect or disconnect.
