monochromatic Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I bought the game some months ago (around update 4 and 5), and I managed to unlock the first 4 characters. When the Xu and the blonde agents were patched in, I had stopped playing, but kept my savefile.Today I installed the game again and all characters and their alternative versions are unlocked and ready to use, but I did not unlock the newer ones, nor any alternate character loadout. Is this a bug or just something I overlooked when reading old patch notes? monochromatic Posted January 7, 2015 Author Share Posted January 7, 2015 Yes, I have all these characters unlocked now, but when I stopped playing Nika and Dr Xu were just patched in and I never unlocked them. I reinstalled the game and suddenly I have all 6 characters ready to use *and* their alternative loadouts. I guess this is not supposed to happen, right? Playing the game in story mode to increase your XP is how you would unlock the archived versions. A fresh save only gives you access to non archived versions of Deckard and International.
