My family member turned the computer off when I was gone. I came back, I couldn't go onto Don't Starve Together Beta. I tried everything. Verifying, I did everything that steam community recommended to do when that happened. Re-installing, both don't starve and Don't Starve Together. I removed All addons and it still doesn't work Steps to Reproduce: What was I doing when this happened... First, I got mad Second, I re-installed and restarted the game Third, I went online to solve the issue (Did not work) Fourth, I verified Fifth, I re-installed Don't starve and Don't starve together. Sixth, I went onto the forums, they said to come this page on the forums and I did. Question: If I download mods and uninstall them would it still affect my game? Developer SethR Posted January 7, 2015 Developer Share Posted January 7, 2015 Hi flaketman77 - sorry you're having trouble. Can you be a little more specific as to the exact nature of your problem? Are you able to launch DST? If so, are you able to log in? If so, are you able to host games? Join games? If you could upload your log.txt (from your Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether folder) and your dxdiag, that would help as well. As for your final question: yes, they can. Typically, they get unloaded and should clear out any effects, but this doesn't always happen properly.
