Creature Help.

I have moved from a custom character to making a creature for awhile. i have finished most of the animations for it, and I need to make a stategraph for it. it has a sleep, idle, death, and run animation. i would like it to run towards the player and run away immediatly after. sort of like a following mandrake crossed with an attacking pig person. i would like it to sleep at night, and to idle when the player isnt in a select radius. i have no real experience with this, and i would really like someone to help me. thank you.

 

Edit. i launched the game with a modified stategraph from another mod, and replaced the names accordingly... the animation slightly glitches out and i have no idea what it is doing. the mod is stable, but there are alot of issues with the animation 3:
