simejialpha Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 Bug Submission: Category: General Issue Title: Can't Join other server Issue Description: When I try to join other server, screen shows loading and press ESC to disconnect, but never get into selecting characters screen even it is not reached maximum number of players. I can select characters, get into game and play normally when I host myself, but my friends are not able to join my server. Same issues will happens when my friends try to connect while I am hosting the game myself. But my friends can play normally. It happens between Me and other players. rezecib Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 @simejialpha, The devs may not see this for a while (because break and stuff), so I'll try to help. It looks from the log file like you managed to successfully connect, but then got disconnected. I see that there were some mods loading, have you tried without any? Some people were also reporting antiviruses getting in the way of connecting. I would do what rezecib suggested and disable those mods. You are connecting, so it's not a networking issue. simejialpha Posted December 25, 2014 Author Share Posted December 25, 2014 Thank you for replying.I apologize for forget to disable mods.I've just tried all mods disabled and the issue didn't solve.I also tried with turning off anti-virus softwares, and same result. I have tried several cases,and what I found are The blackscreen before selecting charactor issue is only happened when I try to connect other servers. I can play normally if I host myself,but other players(my friends) can't connect to me, same issue will happen to them. It goes blackscreen when we try to join friends server but other public servers works fine. The game works fine before the today update.
